Tomorrow sees the final farewell show from James Murphy and his LCD Soundsystem collective at Madison Square Garden.
The show will no doubt be a spectacle and Lance Bangs, director of the band’s final show, has posted a call on his website for “footage of clouds and sky shot from airplane windows,” which could be used during the musical finale.
The idea of integrating fan footage into a show is reminiscent of what the Arcade Fire did with its "The Wilderness Downtown" video and accompanying “Wilderness Machine,” which brought fan-made drawings into the band’s live shows.
